The Mercer Ellington home is a three-story frame Tudor-style home. The first floor features a brick veneer, the second floor is half-timbered stucco, and the third floor is clapboard siding. The asymmetrical composition has a projecting turreted entryway. The windows are rectangular and are double-hung, with multi-panes. It was featured in a 1936 New York Times photo spread entitled, “Suburban Homes With Garages on Front Finding Favor With New Owners.”
