In 1896 the Long Island City Public Library was formed, after consolidatin of NYC in 1896, became the Queens Borough Library , again smaller indies join on. 1907 incorporated under the name The Queens Borough Public LibraryQueens 7,5,5 Tuthill & Higgins, Lord & Hewlett, Heins & LaFarge, Robert F. Schirmer in Queens.
