HDC's Advocacy Auction in the Aalto Rooms
to benefit the League of Preservation Voters Initiative
April 3rd, 2008

The League of Preservation Voters initiative works to educate elected officials and candidates about preservation and development issues in their districts. Held in the exclusive Alvar Aalto Rooms at the Institute of International Education at the UN, the auction showcased this hidden gem of modern Finish architecture, designed by Alvar Aalto. It is one of only four of his works remaining in the United States, and the only one in New York.
