landmark. Built by Cross & Cross in 1930-1931, this limestone
tower’s Modern Classic design blends both Art Deco and

decorative metal work. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy a
fantastic historic space which is generally closed to the public!
Your donation will be used to support HDC’s
League
of Preservation Voters, which organizes coalitions
of community groups throughout New York City to educate elected
officials and candidates for office about preservation and development
issues in their council districts. Since 2007 HDC has initiated
successful Preservation Voters efforts in districts in Queens,
Brooklyn and Staten Island. The program will be expanded to all
51 districts prior to the November 2009 election cycle, making
your immediate support of this initiative all the more vital.
