The Historic Districts Council is the voice for all your favorite historic neighborhoods. By supporting the Historic Districts Council and becoming a Friend, you help ensure that we will be able to continue to educate, to assist, to monitor and to advocate for historic districts and the preservation law that protects them. Friends of the Historic Districts Council provide vital support for all our programs and activities. Friends are HDC’s link to New York’s historic neighborhoods. They provide the human foundation for our advocacy efforts and are the core constituency for our educational programming, Friends also receive several benefits:
